We left Bruges and made our way to PGi’s Frankfurt office where we enjoyed the best wurst and hospitality Germany has to offer.
We then moved down to Wurzburg to get our first taste of Oktoberfest and to pay homage to Matt Howeth’s year abroad. There the local castle perched above the town.
We made sure to get a meal at Matt’s favorite pub, Sternback. Cora had the largest wienerschnitzel I’ve ever seen and ate every bite of it.
After Wurzburg, we winded our way to Nuremberg. All along the way, there are small town breweries that have delicious homebrews.
Nuremberg itself is beautiful and has a few breweries of its own.
Here is a map of the town. We had to take this photo after wandering for two hours looking for our car. It rained, but fortunatly we had some good food along the way.
